Iron Way Films are the producers of the Big Dream Film. They produce digital stories that reach millions of viewers for some of the most influential organizations in the world. Currently, their producing two web series with PBS: Original Fare- the go-to travel video series for eating, drinking, and discovering local craft fare and Kitchen Explorers. Highlights of their seven year old company include Disney’s first environmental education web series “Imagine Your Planet;” National Academy of Engineering’s short series on game-changers in the field “Build Your Dream;” Participant Media’s stop motion animation short “A Place at the Table;” an artisan travelogue through Bali for John Hardy & QVC; a series of funny green messaging starring Alec Baldwin three years in a row for UTSA & the US Open; and a dive into the artist’s mind with the likes of Jack Johnson & Ben Harper for NRDC.
Co-Founder Kelly Cox was selected as one of Interview magazine’s “Top 50 Under 30 To Watch” and Glamour Magazine’s “50 Women Doing Great Green Things.” She’s also been featured in London magazine “Dazed & Confused” and GOOD Magazine. She has spoken at South by Southwest, Arts Presenters, Martha’s Vineyard Women’s Entrepreneurial Network, SXSWEco, and BlogHer Food.
Co-Founder Lucas Longacre is an Award-winning Director; he worked every back breaking job in production long before creating Iron Way Films. As the technical director of the company, he is driven to find new ways to tell every story better. This tireless ability to push the boundaries of web storytelling has taken him from filming zombies to rock stars to high-tech experimental laboratories around the world.
